The State of the Soul Address - 250th Anniversary, Freedom Edition: The Eagle Returns

As the sun sets on the 250th anniversary of the founding of this country and the fireworks light up the Cosmic Skies highlighted by Mars exactly conjunct Uranus, I want to share some reflections on individual and collective soul liberation.

I. The Sky Is Speaking

Right now, the sky is not being subtle: Mars is exactly conjunct Uranus in Gemini TODAY — action colliding directly with disruption, ignition meeting awakening. And this is not happening in isolation. It's landing precisely as Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto lock into one of the rarest configurations in modern memory — a triangle of awakening, dissolution, and deep transformation that has been building for years and is crystallizing right now. Jupiter joins them within days, amplifying everything it touches.

This is intentional Cosmic Alignment - not coincidence. The planets that govern collective, generational change are aligning at this exact moment in human history to support our individual and collective transformation and evolution. Something is being asked of us — not later, not eventually. Now.

II. The Liberator, Speaking Directly

Mars is the spark. Uranus is the freedom fighter.

Uranus in Gemini — the mind, communication, perception — is the Great Awakener of the mind and right now it has fuel behind it. This is not a quiet awakening. It's an ignited one. Together, this fire has direction: it is pointed toward liberation.

But liberation isn't handed to us by a transit. The sky provides the spark. What we do with it — that is the opportunity. Since we live on the Planet of Free Will, we get to decide how to work with this energetic invitation.

III. The Diagnosis: Separation Consciousness

Beneath the heat of this moment is a root wound ready to be seen clearly: the false, low-vibrational belief in fundamental separateness.

This wound shows up in two directions, but it is one and the same illusion. Separation between people — the belief that we are fundamentally different from one another — which causes us to other "the other" and allows for mistreatment, domination, and harm to continue. Separation from the Divine — believing the self is somehow apart from God rather than a living expression of God — is the same wound, turned inward.

These are not two separate problems to solve. They are one illusion, showing up in two expressions at once. Healing one is inseparable from healing the other.

IV. The Pressure Cooker and WHY

If you've felt like a pressure cooker this week, your body is not wrong.

Record heat is moving across the Eastern US. At the same time, the sun itself has been erupting — a barrage of solar flares and coronal mass ejections reaching Earth on these very same days, arriving in direct alignment with the exact Mars-Uranus ignition point overhead.

This is not metaphor stacked on metaphor. The sun is erupting in sync with the sky's own Cosmic Alignment of Mars conjunct Uranus: Fire above. Fire below. Fire within.

Tonight, as I sat down to write these words, I drove straight through a massive lightning storm — the sky splitting open, electric, a massive clearing energy. It felt like confirmation. This energy is not abstract. It is not only in the charts. It is in the air, quite literally, right now.

This is the alchemical fire stage. Nothing transforms without heat. What feels unbearable right now is the exact temperature required for the old form to finally give way.

The heat is not separate from the liberation. It is part of how the liberation happens.

V. The Eagle Returns

Here is where something remarkable comes into focus.

In the medicine wheel of the Q'ero shamanic lineage — the lineage I carry — Eagle is the medicine of the East. It is the direction of the mind, the place where we come to heal the illusion of separation from Great Spirit.

The eagle is also the chosen symbol of the United States. Vision. Far-seeing clarity. The capacity to fly high enough to see the whole.

The very symbol this nation stands under carries the medicine for the exact wound its own chart is now being called to heal. A nation founded on the deepest contradiction of separation consciousness — liberty proclaimed, human beings enslaved — carries, symbolically, the medicine for healing that very contradiction. The Eagle was always pointing toward what would eventually be needed.

VI. Sovereignty Supports Unity

Sovereignty and oneness are not opposing forces to balance. They are the same truth, seen from two angles. True sovereign authority does not come from separating yourself from others or from God. It comes from fully inhabiting your unique, individuated expression of the whole. You are not sovereign instead of being one with all that is. You are sovereign because you are. Boundaries, then, aren't walls of separation. They're what integrity looks like when a sovereign, unified being refuses to let separation consciousness — in the form of harm, disrespect, self-abandonment — distort the truth of interconnection.

VII. The Chart Confirms It

The United States completed its Pluto return in 2022 — a full death-and-rebirth cycle, returning to its own point of origin. Because Pluto moves so slowly (taking 240 years to coplete one full cycle), that energy is still active. Now, the nation is entering its Uranus return, a cycle that began in 2025 and will complete in the years just ahead. Uranus — currently conjunct Mars — is returning to the exact placement it held at the nation's founding. Both of these rare, generational cycles converge on this 250th anniversary. The chart itself is being asked to resolve its founding contradiction — not simply to celebrate it.

VIII. The Invitation

This liberation is already underway, whether or not we feel ready for it. The exact alignment of the solar storms, lightening storms and Mars Uranus alignment is HIGHLY representative of what is to come and also a remeinder that Pluto (the Shaman of the Sky) is moving through the constellation of Aquarius.

IX. CHANGE WILL ACCELERATE + the PATTERNS I SEE

The study of Astrology is essential the study of patterns, symbols and archetypes and how they move and support our evolution in both profound and organic ways. The more I study these Cosmic patterns, the more I notice something:

The breakdown of the old order will intensify and accelerate - today is living, real time confirmation of that reality, as already foretold and forecasted by the Planets, our Planetary Ancestors. These Cosmic Energy Pillars are guiding us forward with clear intention, Cosmic support and guidance.

Individually: notice what's igniting in you right now. Don't suppress it. Don't let it explode unconsciously either. Let it reveal what's ready to be cleared and wait until you can work with the energy intentionally.

Collectively: this pressure, this heat, this fire — it is all in service of the same shift. Separation consciousness, dissolving into embodied unity.

X. The State of the Soul

This is not utopian thinking. It is a genuine unwinding of separation — individually and collectively — guided by what is quite literally overhead right now.

The Eagle rises when the illusion of separation is healed.

That is the medicine of this moment.
